Day 31

Yesterday was so tough, I thought I would be hurting so bad today, but it wasn't that bad.  I worked out earlier in the day because I didn't have to work at Wal-Mart, so after the workout I added a stretch from X Stretch and I felt really good today.  I was so surprised!  I didn't do the whole workout, I just did the ones that focus on the area I worked on.
The workout was Back & Biceps, plus Ab Ripper X.  I actually raised the intensity a little in the workout, by using more weight than I have before.  I started with 15lbs, and later moved to 8lbs, and finished with 5lbs.
I was a little scared at first, but it turned out okay in the end.
I feel my muscles changing each and everyday, my hope is that they will change enough to alter my disease Fibromyalgia.  I am not a doctor, but I feel this already happening.

I have been asked if I take anything for the pain. What I would say to that is no?  Five years ago when I was first diagnosed with Firbo. & Lupus, I followed my doctors orders and took Lyrica, Savella and other muscle relaxers, but they did nothing for me, just crazy side effects.  One year later I put all those meds down and found something that has not only worked for Fibro, but has allowed me to do this workout.  I believe that without this I could not do P90X.  This workout is so intense, that I would be cramping up all the time, I would not recover fast enough to even attempt the next workout.  I do sometime have cramps in the workout, but for the most part I have not had to deal with tightness and stiff muscles.  A direct result of Vemma and two old goats.  Both of these have given me the strength to do this workout routine.

I have a strict routine when it comes to recovery that allows me to press on, so anyone interested in doing this workout, I would encourage you to find something that will help you get through this workout.

I am looking forward to Yoga tomorrow!  I need this workout to help me get ready for legs and back!
Until tomorrow,
Kevin
