What I like about this workout?
It is a pure core strength Routine that uses different style push ups and weights to build strength in areas that are not used often.
- Example, there is a exercise called scarecrow, I use 8lbs weights, picture a scarecrow in the field with arms up, keep your elbows in one place and rotate your arms up and down.
- Another example, take the smallest weight, I use 3lbs, put your arms straight out to you side and keep them up by locking your elbows in place. Take your weights and turn your hands down like you are pouring tea in a glass.
- Another example, push ups, not your everyday ones though, take a plastic plate put in on your carpet and slide your arm out as you go down to do a push up. Repeat on each side.
- And another, one arm push ups, okay so you do them on your knees to start, but they still are very hard. You have to go down as far as you can, by supporting your weight with your upper body.
I have needed more stretching over the past couple of days, so I have done that a lot. I am so amazed that my routine has held up this long, but very grateful that it is that good. I have added different things to it, like the stretching and Verve, The energy drink from the Vemma series.
I am looking forward to Plyometrics today,
Until Next Time,
Kevin
