Yesterday was intense! It had been a while since I have done Legs and Back, and I was not as ready for this workout as I thought I would be. The workout was tough, I barley made it through the whole workout. Of course, I had to stop about half way through the workout, to watch the end of the Dallas Mavs game 4. It was a close game and I just had to watch. They won! The game gave me a much needed break, and allowed me to finish strong where I wouldn't have been able to do so.
Now, back to the workout, I was a little surprised by how difficult the workout seemed yesterday. I was very sore this morning and through most of the day. Right now I have a little tightness in my legs but most of the soreness is gone, I owe this to my Routine, I would not be where I am right now without it!
Legs and Back plus Ab Ripper X, kicked me in the butt and kept on kicking throughout the day. The Ab workout was good, I actually finished strong in this 16 min. workout yesterday. I am a little surprised that the Ab workout doesn't leave me sore the next day. I thought this workout alone would really set me back, but so far it hasn't. I am glad, because this workout is really helping me move closer and closer to where I want to be.
The Legs and Back workout is also helping, I am gaining so much strength in areas that I need so much. I am excited about this workout and what I will continue to get from this workout. In fact, each workout has it's own contribution to my success with P90X.
I am looking forward to Kenpo tomorrow!
