Yesterday was a ver good but hard workout, Back and Biceps is very tough on the body and my muscles, but it's what Tony Horton like to call the glamor muscles. This workout gives you those muscles that evryone talks about when you are out in public. I am not sure that I will have those muscles, but I am trying!
Today I am not as sore as I was the first time around, I think there are a couple of reasons why this is happening. First, the muscle confussion is still working with each and every workout. The different exercises incorporated into this workout are in the order they are in to keep your muscles guessing what is coming next. Secondly, my routine allows me to work pretty hard and then recover faster than someone who does not have a routine. People with Fibromyalgia, often try to workout but the pain becomes to great while they are working out or shortly after each workout that they quit. I feel like what I do each and everyday is what allows me to compete in the workout and finish strong, without the pain and cramps that most deal with on a daily basis. My routine is something that I do everyday, and I pretty much do the same things day in and day out.
Today's workout was very tough, there are a lot of pull ups and a ton of curls. The focus is mostly on the biceps and it switches to pull ups to confuse the muscles, and it is working as far as I can tell. I like this workout though, it is doing so much for my upper body, my strength and stamina. I am so looking forward to Yoga tomorrow, I just can't tell you how much I love what this workout has and is doing for me and for Fibromyalgia. Maybe tomorrow I can begin to share with you how Yoga is changing my disease.
Until Tomorrow,
Kevin
